We’re The Hop Box – a craft beer bar and bottle shop in the heart of Ware.

Our independent taproom is a proudly local business supporting local breweries. We host regular events, from tap takeovers and tasting evenings to live music and free beer tasters.

We’re a family friendly venue and yes, dogs are welcome too. We’re big on craft beer, but we’ve got a range of other drinks to suit everyone – from G&Ts and wine to cider and spritzes (and plenty of bar snacks).

If the sun’s shining, pull up a chair and enjoy our spacious outdoor seating. And we’re pleased to offer disabled access and disabled toilet facilities.

Take a stroll up the river from Hertford or Stanstead Abbotts and swing by for a drink. We’re very close to Ware station for direct trains to London and nearby towns.
